It's been unseasonably hot even for Alabama. Hello, severe drought. It's hard to believe Thanksgiving is a week from tomorrow. BUT I have been thinking about gratitude a lot lately. How do I practice gratitude? How can I get some more of it? How can I foster it in the world around me? What am I truly grateful for? Lots of things, but at the moment I am most grateful for all of you. So without further ado, here are some FREE PRINTABLES you can use for all your festive feasting! There's a version with text added and a version for you to write in your own message or names. I'd love to see any pictures of these on your tables so be sure to #everbloompaper if you post. Mostly importantly, enjoy and spread the love. Click the links below to download and print at home:
The tiny house trend is all over social media these days. Even my Netflix account keeps suggesting I watch shows and documentaries about the itty bitty craze. I think for most of us that's where the tiny house experience stays; in the imaginary world of our Pinterest boards. But my good friends Jonathan and Becca actually built a tiny house in their backyard and let me tell you, it is fantastic! They did almost all the work themselves with the help of family and friends. It was a true labor of love. So, I was really honored when they asked me to paint a portrait of their little house.
If you're planning a trip to Nashville any time soon you can book the Woodland Tiny House on Airbnb. If you aren't planning a trip to Nashville any time soon maybe you should. I mean, look at how cute it is:
The house is in a quiet neighborhood, but perfectly located for exploring the city. Despite its tiny house status it is full of light and well organized space. It even has a claw-foot tub! I spent a few hours on the daybed last time I visited and can attest to it's superior comfy/cozy factor. You can see more of the Woodland Tiny House on The Moody's Blog, but here are a few more pictures to tempt you:
And hey, if you stay in the Woodland Tiny House you'll get one of these sweet postcards designed by yours truly:
What's motivating you this Monday? This morning I sorted through my photographs from our recent trip to Tela, Honduras looking for some inspiration to keep me rolling through these dog days of summer. Since we were lucky enough to hike through Punta Sal and the Lancetilla Botanical Gardens, lush green vegetation in all its lovely forms was easy to find.Read More
These new "Grow Wild" cards might be my new favorites in the shop. They're great for days of celebration, weddings, birthdays, or rainy days like today when you know somebody needs a little lift. The matching flat note card sets are pretty neat too. Get yours while they last!
I'm really excited about my first project as Everbloom Paper! It seems fitting for it to be a birth announcement baby shower combo. My friend Lizzy commissioned these adorable invitations for a travel themed shower she's hosting in June. The invitations were printed from a hand-painted and lettered watercolor design. Thanks for letting me be part of the special occasion, Lizzy.
